At seven weeks (above two photos), Tempo started shedding around her eyes and muzzle, revealing dark skin underneath.
At nine weeks, the red fur underneath was beginning to grow in and the shedding extended down the sides of her face.
By eleven weeks (three photos at left), Tempo's whole face had shed out, with just a bit of blonde hair remaining around her jaw line. Her neck, chest, legs and butt were also beginning to shed out.
By week 12, Tempo's full face, neck and chest had shed out. Her legs had shed except for the lower half. It appears that ultimately she will have a white sock on the left hind only and that her haunches will remain very blonde.
By week 14, Tempo has almost completely shed out, with just a small amount of foal fuzz on her sides and lower legs. It appears she will have barring on her legs and the classic dun shading around her withers. It is a mystery whether the blonde hairs in her tail will stay that way or darken over time.

Tempo, shown below at 18 months of age, is recovering from a bone cyst in the coffin bone of her right hind foot. She was on stall rest with limited hand grazing and turn-out for nine months.
Tempo, 2 years old, is well on her way to full recovery from the coffin bone cyst in her right hind foot. She is sound again, is enjoying turnout with her buddies during the day, and we are slowly bringing her back to regular exercise at the walk and trot on line.
